Adjacent to the Dynamic Earth Globe is the 6'x11' Earth Event Wall, an electronic bulletin that broadcasts current news on global events such as storms, earthquakes, and volcanic eruptions using both live-action video footage and computer-generated animation. Nearby touch-screen kiosks provide additional information enabling visitors to see the science behind the news by reading explanations of the events written by Museum scientists.
