The Exploratorium/AMNH Shop is now closed.

Located on the Museum's third floor, adjacent to the exhibition, the Exploratorium/AMNH Shop overflows with engaging science-oriented gadgets, books, videos, puzzles, rock collections, radio kits, magnet kits, kitchen chemistry sets, microscopes, telescopes, and a great deal more-all reflecting the science on display in the exhibition and throughout the Museum. The wide variety of items in the Shop touches on topics such as the solar system, Earth science, geology, geography, natural science, physical science, and light and optics. Some highlights include:

  • An American Museum of Natural History Space Theater Planetarium presents scientifically accurate views of the ever-changing night sky. ($40.00)
