Roving Mars

December 22, 2006 - May 18, 2007

Roving Mars is an engaging large-format film that explores the surface of Mars through the eyes of Spirit and Opportunity, NASA's robotic Mars rovers.

Dramatic imagery of the Martian landscape shown on the large-format screen lets audiences feel almost as if they are on the Red Planet. Steve Squyres, the lead scientist on the project, narrates this compelling visit, unlike any undertaken before, that may reveal life on Mars.

It takes all kinds of people to make a Mars mission happen: people with dreams, talent, persistence, and a love of adventure. NASA is looking for the next generation of engineers who will make Mars exploration possible, and your students might be among those to make history happen and discovery come alive. Roving Mars presents the stories from some of the people who are currently paving the way.
