Are you looking for a Graduate course in the sciences this summer? Spaces are still available in the Summer semester of Seminars on Science. Sign up now for an award-winning online course in the life, Earth, or physical sciences.
Designed by the Museum for K-12 educators, each six-week course immerses the learner in an area of contemporary research. Educators come away with a deeper understanding of both the science and the tools of scientific inquiry as well as an array of classroom resources. Courses are taught and led by Museum scientists and educators and feature rich web-based discussions. They are easy to use and flexible enough to fit into a teacher’s busy schedule. Affordable Graduate credit is available from a number of major institutions (see website for details). The cost of a three credit graduate course from Seminars on Science averages $750 and the course may meet your local professional development requirements, including NCLB. Internet access is required, and 24-hour technical support is always available. The Summer II semester runs July 3 - August 13.
